IPBD has established a fully functional steel mill, with a capacity of 100,000 tons per annum.

The plant processes scrap metal into steel products for the construction market.

The steel company produces a range of reinforced bar products (Rebar) to supply the booming construction industry in Iraq. The rebars are carbon and alloy rounds and the types are threadbar and proprietary high strength. The dimensions are 8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm and 25mm. 

Our use of the latest technology allows the company to efficiently provide the construction market with materials of the highest standard at competitive prices. Our furnace and chimney designs also reduce emissions to a minimum level.

Using German equipment, we test the quality of each production run to ensure it conforms to international standards. All production is certified.
